Materials:

2" x 10" cellophane bags ($6 for 100; www.NYCake.com)

Jelly beans in a tonal assortment of colors, like pink, orange and yellow (find single flavors in 16-oz tubs for $9; www.JellyBelly.com)

1¼" round metal-rim tags

5/8"-wide ribbon, cut into 6" lengths

Directions:

1. Fill bags with jelly beans, adding hues in the order they appear in a rainbow; each color should form a roughly 1" layer.

2. Leave 1½" at the top of each bag and trim off the excess.

3. Write each guest's name on a tag.

4. Close each bag by tying on a tag with a length of ribbon

Butterfly Napkin Rings

Time: 25 Min
Cost: $30 for 8

Materials:

3 yd 1½"-wide pink grosgrain ribbon

3 yd 1½"-wide yellow grosgrain ribbon

Double-stick tape

3 yd ¾"-wide peach grosgrain ribbon

Heirloom foil butterfly stickers ($5.99; www.Joann.com for stores)

Directions:

1. Layer the two colors of 1½"-wide grosgrain ribbon over each other to create a single 2"-wide ribbon; secure together with double-stick tape.

2. Layer the ¾" ribbon so it lies centered over the seam of the other two ribbons; secure with double-stick tape.

3. Cut the three-layer ribbon into 3½" lengths.

4. Roll napkins and wrap the 3½" three-layer ribbons around the middle of the napkin, securing at the back with double-stick tape.

5. Place two butterfly stickers in the center.

Ombré Easter Eggs

Time: 1 hr
Cost: $9.25 for 12

Materials:

Gel/paste food coloring (approximately $2 each at craft and baking supply stores)

White vinegar

1 dozen white hard-boiled eggs

Directions:

1. Mix colors using ⅓ tsp (¼ tsp for yellow) food coloring, enough warm water to cover eggs and 1 tsp white vinegar.

2. Dip egg fully in dye and let dry.

3. Dip the egg again ¾ of the way into the dye and let dry. Repeat in quarterly increments.

Optional: You can also start by leaving the tip of the egg white. To create a multicolor gradation, start with one color and dip in quarterly increments. At the half mark, begin dipping by quarters in another color.
