With some fabric, paint and a little TLC, contributing style editor Eddie Ross freshened up furniture that he found at a twice-annual rummage sale in Somerset Hills, New Jersey, benefiting the Visiting Nurse Association. A bench with great legs gets modernized with wood stain (we used Minwax Wood Finish in Dark Walnut from Minwax), a super chic fabric (we used Corn Yellow Zig Zag Stripes on Cotton Fabric from HancockFabrics.com) and trim (we used Premium Broadcloth in Solid Black from Fabric.com).
